About The Perrines
Evangelist Rick Perrine faithfully served as pastor of Ripley Baptist Temple, in Ripley, WV, from March of 1999 until March of 2025. Following the Lord’s leading, he stepped aside from the pastorate to begin a new chapter of ministry through Ripley Baptist Temple called Hope From The Hills — a ministry of evangelism, edification, and encouragement.
Rick was saved as a 16-year-old boy in 1972 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Elkview, West Virginia. Not long after, God called him to preach. While attending Bible college, he met his wife, Cindy, and they were married in 1977 near her hometown of Abingdon, Virginia. Rick and Cindy have served the Lord in full-time ministry since 1978. God has blessed them with one son, Matt, and his wife, Amy, along with four precious grandchildren.
Rick carries a deep burden for the churches of West Virginia and across the region. Through Hope From The Hills, he seeks to come alongside pastors and congregations to encourage, strengthen, and stir hearts for revival. “Preaching Heaven from Almost Heaven,” Rick Perrine continues to proclaim the Gospel with the same conviction that has guided his ministry for decades.
The Perrines look forward to this new season of ministry, trusting the faithful hand of God to do great and mighty things.
